Role of Reviewers

Reviewers are invited to evaluate manuscripts based on the criteria defined in the University’s official policies, including the:

Reviewers assess:

  • Originality and scientific contribution
  • Relevance to rehabilitation, social health, and inclusive education
  • Narrative clarity and accessibility for families, caregivers, and professionals
  • Ethical compliance, citation accuracy, and proper use of sources
  • Cultural and linguistic appropriateness, especially in translated works

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Provide constructive, unbiased, and evidence‑based feedback
  • Respect confidentiality and intellectual property
  • Declare any conflicts of interest
  • Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe
  • Avoid uploading manuscripts into AI tools (as required by the AI Regulation)

 

 

Role of Editors

Editors oversee the full evaluation process and ensure that each manuscript progresses through a fair, transparent, and ethical review pathway.

Their responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring balanced and independent peer review
  • Communicating with authors clearly, respectfully, and professionally
  • Upholding editorial independence and preventing bias
  • Supporting reviewers and resolving methodological or ethical concerns
  • Ensuring compliance with the AI Regulation, including disclosure requirements
  • Making final recommendations to the Publication Council
