USWR Press Inaugurates Its New Publishing Council and Unveils Strategic Developments

On July 13, 2025, the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences officially convened the inaugural session of its newly established Publishing Council. This strategic milestone marks a new chapter for USWR Press—anchored in academic rigor, international outreach, and reader-centered publishing.

• Launch of English Division: USWR Press formally introduced its English-language publishing section, expanding the university’s global footprint and paving the way for bilingual scholarly communication.
• Delegation of Book Sales and Advertising: To boost audience reach and streamline promotional efforts, the council approved outsourcing of marketing and distribution for selected titles.
• Publication Highlights: Six new books were released, showcasing the breadth of expertise within USWR—ranging from elder care guides and autism communication strategies to global health equity and rehabilitation education.
• Editorial Compensation and Oversight: A full list of book reviewers was submitted for honorarium processing, in accordance with guidelines set by the university’s Board of Trustees.
