Dr. Fariba Yadegari, author of the Comprehensive Textbook of Assessment Methods in Speech and Language Pathology, at the "Book Cafe" ceremony, said: "The Comprehensive Textbook of Assessment Methods in Speech and Language Pathology has been unveiled for the first time at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. The purpose of writing this textbook was to create a course book for use by speech therapy professors in teaching, by graduate students for research purposes, theses, and dissertations, and also by clinical specialists and therapists in assessing and diagnosing clients. This book has been compiled with the aim of establishing a baseline for designing appropriate treatment and generally has educational, research, and clinical objectives."

Dr. Yadegari stated: "This textbook, which is the result of the efforts of a large group of authors and experts in the field, can be a valuable resource for speech and language therapists. The reason for this is the breadth of topics and the extensive coverage of disorders in this field, such that the authors believe this book acts as a precise and detailed assessment guide for speech therapists to reach treatment plans for clients."
