EndNote

summary
This booklet is a clinical assessment tool for evaluating apraxia of speech, designed as a supplement to the Persian Aphasia Naming Test. Developed by the Speech and Language Research Group, it provides a structured protocol for examining four categories of movement: general conceptual gestures, hand-based conceptual gestures, oral and respiratory movements, and imitative movements involving object use. Each task is scored on a 0-to-3 scale reflecting the patient’s ability to imitate the movement, ranging from natural execution to complete inability to imitate. The booklet includes administration instructions, accompanying images for the imitation tasks, and a scoring summary section for recording and interpreting overall performance and response quality. It is intended for use by clinicians as a practical, ready-to-administer record form in apraxia and aphasia evaluation settings.
