summary
Verb expression disorder is one type of language impairment that significantly affects communication. Verbs and the information carried by their dependent elements are crucial in conveying meaning within messages. This book is the result of an academic research project on the importance of verbs and the necessity of treating verb-related disorders in individuals who, due to stroke or other brain lesions, suffer impairments in expressive skills. In addition to reviewing theories and research on verb disorders in Persian and other languages, as well as therapeutic programs developed to overcome verb production difficulties, the book presents the theoretical foundations and research background of a treatment protocol for verb and sentence recovery in Persian. This protocol, called the Persian Verb and Sentence Production Protocol (PVSP), is the first therapeutic guideline written and published based on Persian grammar principles.
