EndNote

summary
This book has been prepared to provide early motor interventions for improving motor performance in infants with developmental delay by modifying, correcting, enhancing, and strengthening prerequisite and gross and fine motor skills. The interventions are mainly based on neurodevelopmental and developmental skill approaches. In both approaches, improvement is achieved through the participation of the child and family in structured and goal-oriented exercises and games related to motor development. Implementing these interventions reduces the severity of motor problems in infants with developmental delay and prevents progression into established neurological disorders later on.
