summary
Policy making in the health sector, because of the special nature of this sector compared to other social sectors, has a special position. Because the nature of the health sector is such that it deals directly with human life. Sometimes health may be influenced by issues such as poverty, air pollution, or water pollution, which have no direct connection with health care. To strengthen the foundations of policy making for nursing in the health system, the structures and pillars of the profession—such as education, research, management, clinical services, and community practice—must be reorganized in such a way that effective policy making for the macro and specialized fields of nursing becomes possible, in line with achieving the maximum satisfaction of the recipients of nursing services.
