- The relationship between metabolic problems and inadequate nutrition with many physical and psychological disorders is well established. This book aims to explain certain behavioral issues related to metabolic dysfunction and to improve the nutritional behaviors of patients who seek rehabilitation services due to psychological, behavioral, or learning difficulties. In many cases, providing rehabilitation services without considering the individual’s diet makes achieving desirable outcomes extremely slow or even impossible. The book examines the foundations of disorders such as autism and ADHD from a nutritional and dietary perspective, and alongside rehabilitation interventions, it recommends appropriate dietary regimens. The material presented is intended for families as well as professionals involved in rehabilitation programs for individuals with psychological, behavioral, and learning disorders.
